It’s a bit like the idea of saying, “I’ve got a brain that way, but I don’t have a mind-spacing brain.” That’s a common way for people to talk about self-awareness and self-motivation. However, this is one point where self-awareness is also important.

The problem is that a lot of people confuse self-awareness with self-motivation. If you can remember to do something you want to do, and you have the right mindset for it, then you are going to want to do it. People that don’t have the right mindset aren’t going to be motivated. That is why self-motivation is a huge part of self-awareness.

This is where the term self-awareness comes in. Self-motivation is the key to self-awareness. So when you know what your goal is and you want to achieve it, you will be much more likely to do it.
