This summer I am going to be running along the trails I have been learning about. I’m excited to be out in the woods with my running friends.
I have been a member of the Running Club at the University of Wisconsin for a little over a year now. I started it a few weeks ago for a few reasons. One, I wanted to meet new people, and two, I was curious about whether running was a good activity to get me out of the house for hours on end.
You know, I don’t run all the time, but I’m hoping to find some community. I don’t really have an interest in running. I’m a bit of a “cute kid” as you probably know, though I do run lots of things, and running is a fun activity for a kid. I have a few more questions to ask myself.
Running is a way to take your mind off things by your, not the other person’s, thinking. As you run you have to make a mental shift to not feel the pain and strain of your body and mind. It is an exercise in mindfulness, and I believe there is a lot to be gained by it.
Because of the huge amount of time that we spend on running, I believe it has a huge impact on the way I feel and the way I act. For example, I feel like I’m wearing a sweater, and in my mind I’m wearing a sweater and there’s a huge amount of energy in my body. As a kid I was scared to death of the cold stuff being thrown in my face.
Most running is a very low impact activity, but it does take a toll on the body and mind. So if you find yourself doing a lot of running during your fitness phase in your life, think about the physical effects you are putting on yourself. Run every day for at least an hour, every other day for half an hour, and every other day for no more than a half hour.
Some people like to run for hours a day for a very specific reason. They might be athletes or simply need a boost of energy. For others it’s a way of finding community. For me it’s not so much about running as it is about connecting with others that I work with, and finding them to hang out with and talk about. I’ve found that the most effective way to run is to run with others.
I feel like the best way to find new friends is to run with others. The only thing is that I have to run with them all the time, so its not exactly a free-for-all.
Running and running with others is a common way that I find to share with others. I feel like running is a great way to connect with others and I love that I get to do that while also being able to share my experiences in my own blog. I feel like running is something that has become a habit for me, and it feels like something that I’m good at.
I think running, especially with others, is one of the best ways to connect with others in a positive way. And if I were to list just a few of the ways I’ve run with others, I’d probably do a mini-feature on how I did it. Running is a great way to meet people, a great way to be social, and a great form of exercise.
